FACILITIES

Treetops Equestrian is a safe and secure enviroment for both the horses and the owners

Maintenance, refurbishment and improvement are part of our daily routine

All the facilities at Treetops are available for our livery owners to use and most are included in the livery packages

Stable yard

Treetops is a business but it is also our home

We welcome our clients to share this great space we have carefully planned and created

Some of our clients have been with us for the 32 yrs since we started and some have joined us more recently But all hopefully enjoy their time here with us at Treetops

Arena

We have two outdoor arenas

Our main school is 20m by 52m and is situated in the centre of the yard. Securely fenced with post and rail and hedged down both long sides with screening conifers which provides both a wind break and a little shade. This school is also flood lit and has training mirrors.

The second arena is 20m x 60m which is available during the summer months to school in but doubles up as large turn out pens during the winter months.

Both schools have an equestrian surface mix of sand and rubber and are levelled at least once a day.

Stables

The majority of the stables are in two American barns providing the horses with the social interaction that they love.The barns allow both the owners and the horses to be away from the harsh weather during the winter months but maintaining good ventilation and air flow. Both barns have roof lights, outside windows, rubber matting and are fitted with cooling fans for the summer months.

Forage and bedding

All our stables are fitted with thick rubber matting and a straw bed is provided

We only use high quality barley straw as bedding

Shavings are not included in the livery but is an option if required

We provide either hay or haylage .

Covered tie up area

This purpose built tie up area provides a safe and convenient place to pamper the horses

The hot wash runs at a constant 37 degrees or alternatively there is a cold water option.

Tack room and storage

The tack room is situated in the centre of the stable yard

Secure and heated with a double bolting system

Each owner is also provided with their own personal locker and ample storage boxes

The whole yard is covered by permanent security cameras

Coffee room

If you want to sit and chat for hours or just grab a quick drink then our complimentary coffee room has it all

The covered outside veranda overlooks the main school and is definitely the hub of the stables

Summer grazing

During the summer months we have ten acres of secure, well maintained paddocks

We can provide either day or overnight turnout

The daytime turnout is between 6.30am and 12.30pm

Overnight turnout is between 1pm and 6am

During hot spells the overnight horses are turned out late evening to avoid the excessive heat

Bark turnout pens

We have five purpose built permanent turn out pens

Providing this all weather outside space means that every horse can go out during the winter for two to three hours per day

Bark round pen

As part of our surfaced turn out we have a large Claydon round pen . Available both summer and winter it offers a quiet individual space that has been invaluable with those horses that are going through the rehabilitation process after injury

Rubber winter pens

During the winter months our 2nd 20m x 60m outdoor arena is turned into three large turn out pens

Divided with horse safe fencing and permanent water troughs this offers the ideal space for a good leg stretch

Horse walker

Available to use and included in the livery we have a roofed four horse Claydon horse exerciser with a rubber brick flooring

Hacking

From Treetops you can hack out onto Bishops Lane which is a single track quieter back lane

This leads onto several bridleways and eventually the Binfield circuit giving you one to two hours of tracks avoiding the main roads

Feed and Suppliments

We offer a wide variety of feeds that generally cover most horses needs but specialist feeds and suppliments can be added by the owners

Steamed and soaked hay

As an optional extra we can provide either soaked or steamed hay

Rug washing

We offer a rolling fixed fee to have your saddle cloths and exercise boots washed weekly

we can also wash and re proof your stable and turnout rugs on an individual basis

Clipping

We offer a full clipping service during the winter months

This can be done on an individual basis or we also offer a one off payment and your horse will be kept clipped and trimmed from Oct to March

Holiday cover

Wanting that extra care for your horse while your away

no problem !

We can provide daily or weekly care of your horse

This includes light grooming , bathing and over seeing things like farrier and physio appointments
